Property

Ownership is the most comprehensive right a person can have on a matter. The property right gives the owner the opportunity to dispose of the body at his own discretion, as long as it does not violate the rights of others.

Only things (material objects) can belong to someone. When someone has the most comprehensive right to something that is not a matter (such as a right of action), the person is not called an owner, but a rightholder.
