The Waterfall – method is a classic way of software development that successively goes through different phases of development.
Phases
The phases that are being followed are definition and analysis, basic design, technical design, construction and implementation, testing, integration and management and maintenance.
The next phase will not start until the previous phase has been completed.
Agile Method
It has been found that the waterfall method for software development does not work optimally. In many cases, both the schedule and the budget are exceeded. As a result, an agile method is often chosen instead of the Waterfall – method.
