Wetboek van Burgerlijke Rechtsvordering (Rv)

In the Netherlands, civil procedural law is laid down in the Code of Civil Procedure (Wetboek van Burgerlijke Rechtsvordering – Rv). The Code of Civil Procedure consists of four books. This includes rules regarding litigation at the court, the court of appeal and the Supreme Court. Moreover, it includes the rules on enforcing judgments and the rules for arbitration.
