Arrest

Articles dealing with the law often use the term “arrest”. An arrest is a judgment made by a court of law or the Supreme Court. A judgment from a lower court is called a verdict.

In judgments, laws are further explained and these laws are applied. Sometimes laws as such are not clear and judgments can determine how the law should be interpreted/applied.
