b2b (Business-to-Business) is an indication that is used when companies do business with each other. This is, for example, different from trade between a company and a consumer (b2c).

From a legal point of view, this distinction is relevant because there is more freedom for professional parties (ie B2B) to agree on what parties want (freedom of contract). When a consumer is involved in an agreement, the law has more mandatory provisions.
