Other cookies ensure that the website remembers the preferences of the visitor.

But there are also disadvantages to cookies. Cookies can damage the privacy of the website visitor because their activities on the internet are tracked unwanted. There are different types of cookies. For example, there are temporary cookies that are deleted after the browser is closed. Yet there are also permanent cookies that are not automatically deleted, but that the visitor must delete in his browser settings.
