An expert report is the advice of a specialist in legal proceedings. An expert report can be requested by both parties and also by the court.
Costs
The expert is entitled to compensation and wages. This will have to be paid by parties. The expert will estimate the costs prior to the expert report. After the estimation, an advance must be paid by (one of the) parties.
IT
Due to the fact that IT cases are often complex and judges do not necessarily specialize in this, an expert report in IT cases occurs regularly.
