Ideas

Ideas as such cannot rest on intellectual property rights. Ideas are free to be used by anyone. Ideas can only be protected if they have been developed in a certain form.

It is possible to deposit an idea with the Benelux Office for Intellectual Property (BOIP) and the company CC Proof. However, this has no legal value. They only date the idea. You do not get any rights with this, but you can show that you were the first with the idea. This could come in handy if someone else claims to be the first with the idea and a discussion arises about this.
