Plagiarism

Plagiarism is copying (parts of) someone else’s work without referring to the source. The core of plagiarism is that the plagiarist pretends that it is the work of his own.

Concurrence with Infringement

In many cases, plagiarism will go hand in hand with copyright infringement. However, this is essential. When a work has entered the public domain, plagiarism can still exist. However, copyright infringement cannot be said to exist.
