A creditor who has a security right over a bankrupt debtor is called a separatist in the Netherlands. This often concerns a lien or mortgage.
In principle, a separatist can recover his claim as if there were no bankruptcy. This puts him or her highest in the ranking for the preferred creditor and the unsecured creditor.
