Key Performance Indicators

Key performance indicators (abbreviated: KPIs) are variables that can be used to measure and analyze essential performance.

SLA

A good SLA contains service levels associated with KPIs. For example, the customer’s business units can assess whether a service is satisfactory or not.

SMART

KPIs usually comply with the SMART principle: they are specific, measurable, acceptable, realistic and time-bound.
